LONG BED LATHES

Big does NOT mean slow. That's the phrase that best sums up our large TD Series Z2200-Z3200 lathe. With this series we offer an extremely rigid and robust lathe for machining longer parts. These are machines have beds of more than 2 or 3 metres between the chuck and tailstock for longer parts. All TD machines have integrated, powerful, high torque spindles, as opposed to more obsolete spindles with reduction boxes. In addition, there is an option for a double pneumatic cylinder (chucks on both ends of the headstock) with a 192 mm through bore. As in all our machines, the turret has a built in motor facilitating power driven tools : 12,000 rpm, 105 Nm and 13 kW. They are long bed lathes manufactured with first class components that provide great stability and machining power. TURRET WITH A BUILT-IN MOTOR

This long bed lathe incorporates a robust oil-cooled turret whose large-diameter tool-holders reduce interference between tools and the chuck. The non-lift turret disk unclamps internally when indexing achieving an effective 0.2 second indexing time. It also remains completely sealed preventing the ingress of dirt.

GREAT RIGIDITY AND PRECISION

DOUBLE PNEUMATIC CHUCKS AVAILABLE AS AN OPTION

The integated spindles of this long bed lathe are oil cooled. They are integrated spindles and can incorporate double chucks, with internal through bores of up to 192 mm.
