The CMZ TD and the LB4000 EX II are CNC lathes in the same segment, but analysis of their features shows significant differences.
The TD has 4 sizes of Z travel: 800, 1350, 2200, 3200 mm. Whereas the LB4000 EXII has a smaller range, with a maximum reach of 2,240 mm
The CMZ TD has higher torque and power in all spindle ranges compared to the LB4000 EXII. The maximum torque available in the TD-55 model is 3,684 Nm (max) whereas the Ø112 spindle centre line on the LB4000 EXII reaches 1,178 Nm (30 min)
The CMZ TD turret has more features than the LB4000 EX II turret. It can have 12 or 16 positions and is designed with an integrated motor which reaches 12,000 rpm continuous power. The LB4000 EX II turret reaches a maximum speed of 6,000 rpm.
Another advantage of the CMZ TD is automation, because it can be acquired from any market with a Gantry Loader with a capacity of up to 2 x 50 kg work pieces.
