JEPE 2025: A Forum for Talent

14/03/2025

So, just like some people always mark Saint Valentine's Day on their calendar, JEPE 2025 (Companies Presentations and Employment Fair) is an unmissable date for us every February. With San Mamés as the backdrop, as happens every year at the fair, we fall in love with all the talent around us. And weeks later we had the honour of hosting large groups with a focus on training and development.

The creation of talent

JEPE 2025 - the Companies Presentation and Employment Fair was held in San Mamés (Bilbao) on 18th February During the fair, our colleagues, Mikel Noguerol and Mónica López had the chance to present and convey CMZ's values to the attendees. As in previous years, they tell us enthusiastically how marvellous it is to commit to young talent and how satisfying it is to meet so many future professionals of the sector interested in finding out more about our company.

The fair enabled us to connect with students who can help us shape CMZ's future. This type of initiative helps to bring together talent and professional opportunities in industrial companies to get involved in major technological projects. We will undoubtedly be there again next year.

High value visits

Our doors are always open for everyone who wants to be an active part of change in the machine tool sector. We love showing how "Made in CMZ" does things and for that reason on 14 March we held an open doors day for people who visited our stand during the JEPE fair. It was a very enriching visit, brimming with knowledge and it allowed us to introduce the guests of honour to our company's situation and our manufacturing process.

But that was not all. The first quarter of 2025 was full of visits from students from numerous educational centres. In fact, in March we welcomed students on various Engineering Degree courses at the University of Deusto. A group of over 20 people evidencing the amount and quality of the talent around us.

At CMZ we are looking for profiles who are eager to learn, tenacious and committed to a solid, internationally relevant project. And there are over 500 of us, rowing in the same direction and in our boat, there is always room for crew members who are eager to help propel us into the future. Will you join us? 😉
