The CMZ TD 35 and the Puma 3100 are machines of equivalent size but with numerous differences in structure and features.
The prismatic guides on the CMZ TD 35 have metal on metal contact. Specifically, a ground surface is permanently in contact with a hand scraped surface. In contrast, in the Puma 3100 contact is between metal and turcite.
The X, Y, Z travels on the CMZ TD 35 are longer than on the Puma 3100 , and can therefore handle larger parts.
The CMZ TD 35 spindle is more powerful than the Puma 3100 spindle, in terms of power and torque rating. It also has greater milling capacity, because the driven tool provides more power and speed.
