DISCOVER THE MAIN DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THESE LATHES
The Lynx 2100 LMB and CMZ TA 20 machines have been designed for the same type of part, they can be described as competitors. Nevertheless, analysis of their features shows there are technical differences.
The CMZ TA 20 is a slant bed CNC lathe with prismatic guides. Whereas the Lynx 2100 LMB is a CNC lathe with linear guide rails.
The X, Y, Z travels in the CMZ TA 20 are longer than in the Lynx 2100 LMB, and can therefore handle large size parts.
The CMZ TA 20 spindle is more powerful than the Lynx 2100 LMB spindle, in terms of power and torque rating. It also has a higher milling capacity: the live tool drive produces 12,000 rpm and 11.3 kW compared to the 6000 rpm and 3.7 kW of the Lynx 2100 LMB.
Automation is possible with the CMZ TA 20 through the Gantry Loader, but not with the Lynx 2100 LMB.
