DISCOVER THE MAIN DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THESE LATHES
The DMG Mori CTX beta 1250 and CMZ TD 35 machines have been designed for the same type of part, they can be described as competitors. Nevertheless, analysis of their features shows there are technical differences.
The CMZ TD 35 is a slant bed CNC lathe with prismatic guides. Whereas the DMG CTX beta 1250 is a flat bed CNC lathe with linear guides.
Both the X, Y, Z travels and the turning diameter of the CMZ TD 35 are greater than in the CTX beta 1250.
The CMZ TD 35 spindle is more powerful than the DMG Mori CTX beta 1250 spindle in terms of power and torque rating. It also has a higher milling capacity: the motorized tool produces 12,000 rpm and 11.3 kW compared to the 10,000 rpm and 5.5 kW of the CTX Beta 1250.
Automation is possible with the CMZ TD 35 using the Gantry Loader, but not with the DMG Mori CTX beta 1250.
