In the machine tool sector, working with bar type blanks is very widespread. With the aim of automating the production process, the use of bar feeder systems on CNC lathes is very common, but when the part is long, unloading becomes complicated. This is due to the high cost of existing solutions on the market.
CMZ have pneumatic parts collectors for parts with length capacity of up to 220mm. The CMZ bar unloader (mobile tube) makes it possible to automate the unloading of long shafts without any limitation on the operation of our machines. With this new model, the movement of the X3 axis is possible in the TTL and TTS series, which provides a lot of flexibility to the process. In addition, all the machine's functionalities can be used, such as the superimpose.
The use of a bar unloader provides a simple and effective way to extract long parts through the subspindle, allowing an automated process and reducing the cycle time, since the discharge through the subspindle is faster than with parts catcher.
